One of the first things you do as an actor when you get a job is to go for your costume fitting (probably before rehearsals even begin). I always find it fascinating to see what were the overall designing concept for any production whenever I see a show, and costume design is definitely an area worth taking note of the next time you watch a production.
Costume plays a big part to any actor acting on stage, since you are wearing them for the full duration when you are on stage (obvs!).
